Hi all,
I am using Azure Backup for File Shares. Capture1.jpg is the policy being applied. Capture2.jpg is the current available restore points. It has been running for weeks, and therefore, I'm thinking I should be seeing at least one weekly restore point. I only see the last 15 daily restore points. The dates continue to be sequential with no gap to represent a weekly backup.
I'm still testing and hesitate to use in production as the GFS-like policy I setup does not appear to be working.

It looks like an issue with policy configuration. The daily backup @10PM could be causing issues with other backup schedules. I suggest you change your daily backup schedule to a different time and see if that makes any difference. But you may have to wait a little longer for the change to appear. Because your other backup schedule should happen at least once to see the change in restore points.
In the meanwhile, will investigate this issue and get back to you if there any findings that might help.
This might have been a false alarm. I see a gap in the dates now implying that a weekly is available. It took longer than I was expecting for this to flush out, but I will let the backup policy run longer to see if the monthly also gets generated.

Yes. I think all is well. After waiting a longer period of time, I finally did see gaps in the dates representing weekly and monthly restore points. Thanks.
