How to create alert rule for Azure Virtual Desktop - Autoscale

Hello,

I want to create alert rule for Azure Virtual Desktop - Autoscale, how to creat alert rule to monitoring if autoscaling not working as a plan? ( e.g. send alert if not start machine to meet minimum host capacity?)

I have reviewed the available options from Azure AVD for monitoring, and I see you can use below options

Set up diagnostics for auto scale in Azure Virtual Desktop, for details check https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/autoscale-diagnostics?tabs=pooled-autoscale

Azure Monitor Log Analytics for the diagnostics feature. For details, check https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/diagnostics-log-analytics

Did you explore these features, as we don't have an inbuilt alert signal for AVD autoscaling failure. Let me know if you need any more details.

Thank You for you informations!!

I already set up diagnostics for auto scale in Azure Virtual Desktop and enabled diagnostics feature with alert rules for AVD resourse.

So at this moment there is no way to proactively to monitor AVD autoscale activity?

There is no in-built feature as such that allows you to monitor autoscale activity.
