Microsoft Pureview - Sensivity Label - Encryption : Data Recovery in a Cyber Crisis

Hello,

I have a question regarding the use of sensivity labels in Microsoft Pureview.

Suppose we have a label (for example, named “Confidential”) that includes encryption so that only identified individuals can read a document.

In the event of a cyber crisis that necessitates the creation of a new active directory / new tenant etc.. would it be possible to recover uncorrupted documents that have been labeled as confidential and therefore encrypted?

Looking forward to your insights on this matter.

Best regards

k. sah

I think that it's not possible to migrate Office accounts from one tenant to another, but i might be wrong and would like confirmation on this. Additionally, if I understand correctly, you’re saying that if a new architecture is created from scratch, the encrypted data that is in good condition will no longer be accessible. Is that correct?
