How do I get my global admin role back?

At my previous job, I created a new Azure Tenant using my previous work email address, so the global admin of that tenant is my user using my previous work email address.
I invited myself (personal email address) as a user to the tenant, but before leaving the job, I forgot to set my personal user as a global admin.
Now I can login into azure portal using my personal email, but I don't have global admin rights.

I don't think I should access the portal using my previous work email address as I am not an employee with them anymore, but I would like to keep the tenant if possible.

    Hi @Mohaemen ,

I understand you created a user with Global Admin permission and the former work email address. If it is your Azure Tenant and not the company's Azure Tenant which name you have chosen for the UPN (User Principal Name) for this user? It should/could be something like <name>@<yourtenantname>.onmicrosoft.com . The UPN can be used to login with the corresponding password.

After success you can apply the Global Admin role to your other/new user.

    Hi @Mohaemen ,

if you are not able or willing to use the old work email address to login your best option might be to call the Global Customer Service to apply Global Admin permission to your new account:
