Internal DNS for AAD

hello,
We on progress to move from on-prem AD to the Azure AD, let say domain name on the on-prem is mydomain.id and domain name on the AD is mydomain.co.id
With this scenario should i make zone for mydomain.co.id on the internal DNS server? My goal is to user who still under mydomain.id (on-prem) can reach to the resource under mydomain.co.id (Azure AD) with hostname and not use IP Addr.
