Hi All,

We have a windows application which pushes logs into the 'Event Viewer'. The logs are pushed under:

Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> Application

The source 'NCM' is the name of the application. This is shown in the attached image.

EventLog_Snap

The problem is, that we are only able to set log retention in size. We actually need to set log retention in days for the NCM application.

Recently, we checked this post question on this very forum:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/422649/event-log-retention-days-instead-of-size

But we are not able to see any 'Event Log' under 'Group Policy' settings as in the below image:

Group_Policy_Snap

Can anyone please let us know as to how to get the 'Event Log' under 'Group Policy' so that we can try to set the retention period in days.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi S Abijith,

The Event Log policies are available in the domain group policy, not local group policy. Below is a screenshot on one of my domain controller.
