I am looking to see if item-level targeting is possible to apply in GPO for restricted groups.

Rather than having to create a new OU and or new policy which then means more work everytime settinsg need to change to replicate between policies, i was looking to have one policy but change the restricted groups based on the the machine name they log into. I am unable to see this option in the settings, and wonder if there is an alternative method?

Thank you in advance

    Hello JAMES, Clinton,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Did you mean you want to set "Security Group" via item-level targeting below?

If so, you can add the user objects or computer objects into this security group.

And if you link this GPO to an OU, you also need to add the user objects or computer objects in this security group to the OU.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
