How to setup an email storage alerts to get admins notified when each individual users mailbox reaches at least 90 percent storage in EXO?

For example: If users mailbox reached at 90 or 95 percent then it should send an alert saying xyz users mailbox has reached this level of mailbox storage so we as admin can check and take appropriate actions on it.

Hi @Vinod Survase ,

Based on my research, so far, I do not find any reference to setup alert emails of users' mailbox storage, or warnings that mailbox is nearly full to admin.

The appropriate way at this moment is to check the status of the Quota chart to verify whether the user's mailbox is healthy or not on the mailbox usage report page.

Thanks for reply on this. There should be a way like by creating a rule in EXO or something in the backend as admin via PowerShell.

Anyways, the way you shared is the manual way for admins to keep checking every once in week at least or set a frequency.

There is another question comes in my if we can create or get the mailbox usage report via API by setting it up in AAD and graph API something similar?

Thanks for your instruction. I'm not an API expert though.

Based on my research, you can use the Microsoft Graph API to generate mailbox usage reports. You can also see how much storage each mailbox consumes and how many mailboxes are approaching storage quotas. Please refer to the official doc: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/mailbox-usage-reports?view=graph-rest-1.0

Therefore, it is recommended to submit a new topic with Graph API thread.
