I initially hosted my website on but opted to manage it independently, creating a new site with a new domain name using Azure Domain Service (

However , the theme didn't download correctly, and I'm struggling to identify the issue. Could it possibly be related to the PHP configuration?

Make sure that you have downloaded the Installable WordPress file only and that it has not been unzipped/extracted automatically by your computer.
    • Switch to a standard WordPress theme temporarily: This can help identify if the issue is with the theme or with WordPress itself.
    • Deactivate all plugins: Sometimes, plugins can interfere with the theme. Deactivating them can help identify if a plugin is causing the issue.
