Better way to put "Sign out" options from GPO on desktop in RDP sessions

Hi, I would like to create GPO that adds to the remote session's desktop (or other more useful location) an option to log out of the session.
Users close the session by X instead of logging out, I don't want to kill their session :D
I was thinking of creating a shortcut to C:\Windows32\logoff.exe but it works rather poorly :(
Someone may have already taken up this topic?
