Hello,

The company plans to sell some of the desktop computers for which a volume license stored in VLSC was purchased. We do not want to get rid of licenses, only the equipment (of course without hard drives). How to permanently remove a license that has been assigned to the motherboard. The system can be activated even after formatting the disk and reinstalling it by going to settings -> updates -> activation -> troubleshooting and after a while you can select System activation.

The following cmd commands do not work:

slmgr.vbs /upk

slmgr.vbs /cpky

slmgr.vbs /rearm

    Hi Mateusz

slmgr.vbs /upk should remove the installed license key (it does require elevation)

validation if it worked by running slmgr.vbs /dlv it will show Product key not found

If the device has an oem pro bios license the troubleshooting wizard will still activate the license again

in that case slmgr.vbs will show OEM channel instead of volume license
