From web interface to download my backup file which is around 40-85GB I get the download randomly interrupted in laptop

We are currently attempting to test my backups by restoring an existing backup on a test environment. However, my backups are available on Azure VM from Atlassian Cloud web interface. When I try to use the web interface to download my backup file which is around 40-85GB I get the download randomly interrupted in laptop.
Is it possible to connect via SFTP to Azure VM and download the file directly from backup VM.
Is there a way to go-around the download interruption on browser and download the file through the web interface directly to laptop

through VPN Is it possible to connect via SFTP to Azure VM and download the file directly from backup VM.
Is there a way to go-around the download interruption on browser and download the file through the web interface directly to laptop (VPN).

The VM downloads backup from Atlassian (Confluence/Jira) cloud directly via script.
I can try and download the backup through Confluence/Jira Web UI. I am not download any data from the VM.
The problem is I need the backup file locally for test and through Confluence/Jira Web UI It randomly interrupts to download. So I need to fix the interrupt or a way to download it from my VM.
