how do I change my default sharepoint file sharing settings

Greeting,

I am continuously getting messages that are security warnings that "USERXX@MYBUSINESS.com has created an anonymous access link to "example file.pdf""

The anonymous link seems to me to be a security issue that opens a path to my business drive. This is continually happening with one of my employees (a salesperson) who claims that they are only doing normal file attachments such as sending sales proposals. Can anyone explain how this anonymous link was created?

As a side note, this salesperson uses Windows 11, has the onedrive mapped to his laptop, and attaches files mostly from his mapped file explorer.
