Event Attendee limit with Graph API?

Is there a limit to how many attendees can be submitted / updated to an event through the Graph API? If so, how would you go about invited additional attendees since the entire list needs to be submitted at once?

The maximum number of attendees included in an event, and the maximum number of recipients in an eventMessage sent from an Exchange Online mailbox is 500. For more information, see sending limits.
