Azure OpenAi gpt4 chat playground is using the model gpt3

Hi team,

I have a gpt-4 deployment deployed in Azure OpenAI, but when I am talking with gpt4 model in chat playground, it answers that it is using gpt3 not gpt4 and the data is updated to sep 2021:

Please note that I was also able to reproduce the same issue at my end with GPT4 deployment model and the OpenAI responded saying GPT3 model.

We collaborated with the Product Group team and have the below understanding:

• The model deployed in GPT-4 and will remain GPT-4.
• The responses we are getting about GPT-3 is a System Message.
• At the time when the model was initially trained only GPT-3 was available, so the System responds as GPT-3.
• With future model version updates this might change but for now this is expected.
