@u512353 (Fuentes Alfaro, Patricia) - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.
It sounds like you are experiencing an issue when trying to create a new Data Lake Gen2 storage account while creating an Azure Synapse resource. If you are receiving an error message that the account name can't be verified, it's possible that the account name you are trying to use is already taken or doesn't meet the naming requirements for Data Lake Gen2 storage accounts.
Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check the naming requirements for Data Lake Gen2 storage accounts: The account name must be between 3 and 24 characters in length, and can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. It must also start and end with a lowercase letter or number.
- Try a different account name: If the account name you are trying to use is already taken, you will need to choose a different name.
- Wait a little longer: Sometimes it can take a little while for a storage account name to become available after it has been deleted. If you recently deleted a storage account with the same name, you may need to wait a few hours before trying to create a new account with the same name.

In case, if you are experiencing the same issue again, please do share the location which you are trying to create storage account with screenshot?
