Intense Laptop Glitch

Question

So, here's a big one.

(IGNORE THE TAG I COULDNT FIND ANYTHING THAT FIT THIS)

I was playing a game, and then my laptop hits under 20% power. I think no problem and I'll wait until it's critically low to plug in, BIG MISTAKE.
The game tab stops responding and when I shut it down the laptop screen behind it begins to glitch too, I check my chrome tab and it's completely down.
My laptop turns black and then goes to the loading up screen, it turns back and I check my tab again and there's a really thin green outline around the top (maybe the whole) window of Chrome.
I got to check task manager, suspecting a virus and then the screen splits into two and the chrome tab duplicates (bottom one is perfectly fine).
I restart and everything seems fine, I'm still concerned a possible virus could be lurking on my laptop but I assume it may have to do with the game bugging out.
