For better analysis, I have following questions:
- Does this issue occur with moving files from other local folders instead OneDrive folder to desktop or to other destination?
- Will it be faster if you cut a small file from OneDrive?
- Is there any other sync software running on your machine?
For now, I suggest you update OneDrive client to the latest.
Please make sure the files that you want to move are always kept on this device (not Files On-Demand option).
Besides, you may search "CMD" and run Command Prompt as Administrator, enter the commands below to have a check.
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
And then run sfc /scannow
.
