Hi all,

We have 2 shared computers for our guests and want to re-image these 2 computers at night every day. So the new guests will have fresh computers the next day. Can I do this via the SCCM task sequence?

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Yes, there is a fairly straightforward solution. You can create a task sequence to re-image the computer, and just deploy the task sequence to a collection these 2 computers are in, then recurring daily overnight. The key is to change the rerun behavior to "Always re-run" and not have any user interaction steps so it's zero touch.

Set up a separate maintenance window collection that also has these 2 computers and configure that collection to allow task sequences overnight. (Always make your MW collections separate for sanity).

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Simon
