How to bypass Viva Connections Default Page for multiple Viva Connection Experience

Hi Team,

We have implemented Viva Connections for specific region using Viva connection Experience and we have also pined Viva connection Icon for specific users based on the region using teams custom policy. But we are facing issue while bypassing Viva Connections default page using the below PowerShell command.

Connect-SPOService -Url https://yourdomain-admin.sharepoint.com

Set-SPOHomeSite - HomeSiteUrl  “https://yourdomain.sharepoint.com/sites/yourhomesitename” -VivaConnectionsDefaultStart $true

Above command is affecting to all employees. But we wanted to bypass the connection default page only for region specific people.

Kindly help us to resolve this issue.

Hi @Yadagiri, Anil (Cognizant),

I don't think there's a way to do exactly what you're looking for in SharePoint Online at least. Currently SharePoint Online doesn't support setting different home pages based on users' groups/regions. Home page setting is a global setting.
