Why can't I access Dynamics For Outlook App in the New Outlook Desktop App ?

Hi,

I noticed that the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook is completely absent from the new version of Outlook : "Outlook New".
Is there an update on the way to make the app accessible ?
With my test user, I can access it through the classic Outlook desktop app (historic one) and from the Web App.

Our CRM is going live and we have to tell trained users that they should use the old version of Outlook be using the App, which is reallly not ideal.

    Welcome to our forum!

    As i know, in the new Outlook for Windows, web add-ins are fully supported, with no additional work required from partners. COM Add-ins will not be supported in the new Outlook for Windows but will continue to work in classic Outlook for Windows.
