Recently I have been experiencing the issue my colleagues being unable to assign tasks to me in Planner, as they receive the message "We couldn't complete your request because your item or storage limit has been exceeded". However, I can still assign tasks to myself with no problem.

How can I fix the problem.

    Hi @Che Yue

It is likely that the maximum number of Planner Task has been reached, which is why your colleagues cannot assign any more tasks to you. This is a known limitation of Planner and there is no official way to increase it. However, you can still assign tasks to yourself because you are the owner of the plan and you have the permission to do so. There are a few possible solutions that you can try:

    • Delete or unassign some of the completed or unnecessary tasks from your plans.
    • Create separate Planner plans for different projects or teams. This way, you can distribute the tasks across multiple plans and stay within the limit of each plan. User's image
