I am looking to configure the Azure AD NPS Extension in my environment but I'm running into some configuration issues. I have read a few articles showing it could be a licensing issue or missing an Azure component.

I currently have Microsoft 365 Business Basic for my business. I'm unsure how this translates to Microsoft's licensing for my domain. I have this configured through a reseller (AppRiver), so I'm unsure where to begin to make this work.

It's also more confusing as all of the documents are written for pre-Entra Azure.

Any pointers would be great.

Hello @Gary Smith , the NPS Extension for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication is available to customers with licenses for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication (included with Microsoft Entra ID P1 and Premium P2 or Enterprise Mobility + Security). You can find what licenses are available for your tenant go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.

    • If you’re using the Simplified view, select Subscriptions.
    • If you’re using the Dashboard view, go to the Billing > Your products page.

For more information take a look to Understand subscriptions and licenses in Microsoft 365 for business.
