Azure Student GitHub account couldn't be confirmed

Question

I received an error message stating that my student status could not be confirmed when trying to redeem Azure for Students with my GitHub account that has been verified since a few months ago. What should I do to resolve this issue?

"We could not confirm your status as a student. Click here to begin the academic verification process. This process may take up to a few days. Once verification is complete, please come back and sign in with GitHub to redeem Azure for Students."

Hi Mark,

Did you tried incognito browser to check if the account is not connected to another tenant? If you have tried basic steps I will suggest you to contact the support desk - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2
