This app is basicaly a trash. So many times I've tried to log in, but I can't cause after put my mail and password it requires that I insert a number in the app. But how???? If I'm trying to log in into the app how can I put the number in the app?? It is annoying me. Can you resolve this, please?

In this MS article you will find several ways to try to recover your authenticator.
If this is not possible, go to https://aka.ms/mfasetupto check your verification methods.
Or better yet, when you get to the second window, there is an option: NOW I CANNOT USE MY MICROSOFT AUTHENTICATOR APPLICATION. In this option you can register a new phone number and Microsoft will call you to confirm your details.
