I am working on a chatbot that has a knowledge base in Azure Cognitive Search. However, I need to recreate this solution on premises since the data is sensitive, and I don't want to upload it to a cloud platform. What is the possibility of implementing this solution on premises? Thank you.

@Grmacjon-MSFT just to clarify, my requirement of on premises is just for Azure Cognitive Search. I want my data+indexes to be on premises. While other services will be used on cloud.

Hi @Anonymous Thanks for the additional details. The ACS engineering team confirmed that your scenario is not supported. A containerized version of Azure Cognitive Search doesn’t exist and it is not currently in the roadmap. This means that you cannot use Azure Cognitive Search on-premises without having an outbound connection to Azure.
