Struggling to Restore Microsoft Authenticator Backup on New Phone via Microsoft Account – Any Insights or Fixes?

I have multiple accounts stored in Microsoft Authenticator, and I previously backed up this data to my Microsoft account. However, when I try to restore the Authenticator app on my new mobile device using the backup stored in my Microsoft account, it's not working as expected.

I've made sure that my Microsoft account is properly linked and synced, and my new device is connected to the internet. Despite these efforts, I'm unable to complete the restoration process.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? I rely on Microsoft Authenticator for secure access to my accounts, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Without a backup to restore, the only option is to work with each service provider's account recovery methods. The Microsoft Authenticator is nothing more than a code generator. The MFA is turned on or off at the service provider's end.
