seeing recently, ethernet connection dropping for few users at our workplace

tried ipconfig/release, renew, it works for some but not for all. Its happening for ethernet network only

check logs, below is the error from logs:

"TCP/IP failed to establish an outgoing connection because the selected local endpoint was recently used to connect to the same remote endpoint. This error typically occurs when outgoing connections are opened and closed at a high rate, causing all available local ports to be used and forcing TCP/IP to reuse a local port for an outgoing connection. To minimize the risk of data corruption, the TCP/IP standard requires a minimum time period to elapse between successive connections from a given local endpoint to a given remote endpoint."

wondering if the issue lies in the DHCP scope as it not renewing the lease properly

    Hi Kev,

Please check the DHCP address pool to ensure that there are enough available addresses.

This log message is more like the error message when the application cannot establish a network connection. Please check other logs about network disconnection.

Besides, when the Ethernet is disconnected, please use the network diagnostic tool that comes with Windows 10 to diagnose, the diagnostic results may provide detailed information about the cause of the disconnection.

    Best Regards,

    Wesley Li
