What should I do after removing a trojan?

So, I got infected by a trojan, I did a full pc scan and removed the threat, is there anything else I should worry about? Do I have to do a full on reset to my pc?

Perform a thorough full system scan using a updated antivirus program to make sure your system is absolutely free from any malware.

If it comes clean then I don't think a full reset is required.
