Hello @Dale Miller , Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A Platform.

As per my knowledge the best way to use the Document Intelligence service is to upload the data to an Azure blob storage container. Unfortunately, there is no option to move data without uploading it to the blob storage.

It is important to note that the models have a training dataset limit that needs to be considered when working with large datasets. You can find more information about the service limits in the following documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/document-intelligence/service-limits?view=doc-intel-3.1.0

To create an Azure storage account with a container, you can follow this documentation will guide you through the process step-by-step: Azure Storage quickstart for Azure portal

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Vasavi
