Urgent Issue with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Access to Microsoft 365 Business Account

On or around Friday 24th of November, I started experiencing an issue where I was prompted to use the Microsoft Authenticator App to "Approve my sign-in request." However, I realised that the Microsoft Authenticator App had not been set up for my Microsoft 365 Business Account, and I had never received the QR Code or manual setup information for my business account.

This created a recurring loop where I was continuously prompted to "Open the Authenticator app and enter the number shown to sign in." Unfortunately, as the Authenticator App was never correctly linked to my Microsoft Business Account, it wasn't functioning as expected.

As a start-up, I am the sole employee and Global Admin for all Microsoft products. I attempted to resolve the MFA issue on my own by following instructions to set up and manage Multi-Factor Authentication, but this led to my inadvertent lockout from the Admin Center and all other Microsoft products. I reached out to Microsoft Support on Friday 24th of November, and a ticket was created. I have since contacted support on several occasions, and no one has helped me.

As of today, Thursday, November 30th, I have not successfully resolved the issue. I've been informed that only the data protection team can assist.

I urgently require assistance to regain account access and resolve the MFA issue. Is there a known solution to this problem, or should I continue waiting? It is challenging to comprehend why it has taken over a week to address this issue.
