Certify The Web unable to update certificate (http trafic is routed to 127.0.0.1:1080)

Question

Hi,

I am trying to renew the certificate on my IIS web site but it is failing. The error I get is

System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:1080

I am unable to find who to identify and resolve this.

Can someone please tell me how I can do it?

Hi ,

Did you have proxy? In order to narrow down the issue, you could first disable firewall or proxy to see if this issue is related with firewall or proxy.

For your reference:

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
