The default SharePoint search results list for a site-wide search allow a user to navigate to the location (container or folder) of an object directly from the search results list. The default search results list in a document library do not allow this feature to navigate to the location (container or folder). How do I enable this Open File Location feature in a document library? (Q&A Assist consulted)

    Hi @Michael ,

My situation is the same as yours. Unfortunately, this is by design. It is recommended that you search at the site level.
