We have an AOAG build with replication on a couple databases which act as both a publisher and subscriber to two separate sql instances outside of the AOAG. Everything seems to be working fine except for when we do a failover test, the Replication Monitor on the new primary does not show anything for the replication since it was originally created on the original primary that failed over to the new primary. Is there a way to get the monitor working or is there work-around for this?

I was able to resolve the issue of accessing the Replication Monitor after a failover. However, it's very laggy and takes up to 30 seconds to get a response. Is there anything to help speed this up?
