Adding an interactive announcement

I want to incorporate an interactive announcement within our SharePoint site. The idea is to have a section on our main page where any users can add an announcement without having to go and edit the page. Is this a possibility?

I suggest you use News web part or Events web part as interactive announcement in the modern SharePoint page.

Here are steps:

1.In a modern page -> Click Edit at the top right of the page -> Click , and then select the Events web part or News web part.

2.Add new event or news.
