How to stop NIC from dropping out/resetting
I have an IPU with two NICs - one connects to the network (internet access) and the other NIC is a direct ethernet connection to a device/analyser. The analyser connection keeps dropping randomly and intermittently without a clear cause or pattern. The only way to reconnect is to power the analyser off and back on again, all reconnects instantly, so the drop out is only quick and temporary. I have tried swapping the NICs and the same issue is seen regardless of the NIC used for analyser connection. Power management settings are set to disallow Windows from turning off the power. Any ideas please?
