The Activate option is not showing up under My Roles in previledged Role

If the "Activate" option is not showing up under "My Roles" in Azure AD Privileged Identity Management (PIM), it could be due to several reasons:

Role Assignment: Ensure that you have been assigned the role. If you are not assigned, the activation option won't appear.

Activation Settings: The role may have specific activation settings configured by an admin. If these settings restrict automatic activation or require approval, you might not see the activate option.

Permissions: Check if you have the necessary permissions to activate roles. Lack of required permissions could prevent the activation option from appearing.

Browser or UI Issues: Sometimes, browser issues or UI glitches can cause elements not to display correctly. Try accessing Azure PIM from a different browser or after clearing cache and cookies.

To add to Carlos response-

If you want to activate your privileged role, you can follow these steps:

Sign in to the Azure portal with your credentials.
In the left-hand menu, click on "Azure Active Directory".
Under the "Security" section, click on "Privileged Identity Management".
In the "Privileged Identity Management" pane, click on "My roles".
Find the role you want to activate and click on it.
In the "Role details" pane, click on the "Activate" button.
Select the duration for which you want to activate the role and provide a reason for the activation request.
Click on "Activate" to submit the request.

If you are not seeing the "Activate" button under "My roles", it is possible that you do not have the necessary permissions to activate the role.

In that case, you should contact your administrator to grant you the required permissions.
