Migration of old Outlook PST file to my new PC Windows 11 with Microsoft 365 does not work

I recently installed Windows 11 "formerly Windows 10 and Office 2016" on a new PC and purchased Microsoft 365. I cannot migrate the old Outlook PST file to my new PC Microsoft 365. As a result, I do not see any folder that I used to use, where contained an untold amount of information.

I can create new folders in Microsoft 365, but this is of course impossible because I miss the information from my old pst Outlook file.

In Windows 11 I still have this file \users...\documents\ Outlook files\ ... .pst. Which are still constantly changing in size and date.

Can you help me ?

Kind regards

    Hi @Jean-Pierre Meesemaecker ,

    Welcome to our forum!

What's your .pst file? The data file of your account configured as POP in Outlook client? Or a file opened/imported in Outlook?

If you are trying to add your account as POP and you want to use the previous .pst file, it's suggested that you could move the .pst file to new PC and add your account as POP with an existing Outlook Data File. We can easily do this via Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add>type a name>OK>choose manually setup or additional server types>Next>POP or IMAP>select "Existing Oulook Data File".

    Hope to help you!
