Authenticator's website QR code is missing, and I can't log in to quip

Question

My old phone used Authenticator to scan the QR code and log in to the quip account.

After changing to a new phone, I accidentally deleted the QR password saved on the old phone, resulting in the inability to log in to quip, what should I do?

Autnenticator should give people the ability to retrieve their passwords on their own, otherwise it would be really troublesome to lose or replace your phone.

You can restore from an authenticator cloud backup (assuming there was one) but make sure no accounts have been added to the newly install app. Then sign on with recovery account to do the restore.

Without a backup to restore from the only option is to work with each of the service provider's account recovery methods. The authenticator app is nothing more than a code generator. The two factor is only turned on or off at the service provider end.
