I have a WDS/DHCP Standalone Server PxE Server deploying a custom image, PxE booting a laptop with a built in Ethernet Port is successful, but when using a laptop without a ethernet port, and using a USB to Ethernet dongle that is PxE supported and the drivers have been installed it loads the Deployment Wizard and starts the configuration of injecting drivers, then when the deployment wizard goes to Applying the windows Image (.swm) it blanks out in a white screen and stops.

I checked the logs and came up with the error

FAILURE (5624): 53: Run DISM: /Apply-Image ...
Litetouch deployment failed, Return code = -2147467259 0x80004005

    Hello,

According to your description, it seems the WDS deployment is not supported when using a USB to Ethernet dongle, maybe it is a compatibility issue. It is recommended to PxE booting a laptop with a built in Ethernet Port, which will avoid compatibility issue. Or maybe try change to another computer and use a USB to Ethernet dongle, check if it is also not supported on another computer.

    Best regards,

    Wesley Li
