I can login to my school microsoft account because i have the password but i could not amend its security info as i no longer have the authenticator app on my phone. I have lost it when i reformat my phone. Worst still, I do not know who is the PIC of this issue in my organisation. Can Microsoft team assist in this? I only need a reset and i can login using my password then redo everything.

Is there any way to have someone in Microsoft to get this done because my school admin says no one in school controls that and they do not know who in the government body controls it.

Sorry, no there isn't. Microsoft does not have access to this system. You'll need to contact the school's 365 admin for the reset.
