unable to run executable from network shares for Intune managed device

When trying to run a .exe from linux smb share on a Ms intune enrolled device i get the following message

Share name

The parameter is incorrect.

This install file works fine on a non enrolled client.

    @Kevin Baldwin - ETL, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, it seems on Intune enrolled device, we are unable to run exe from linux smb share.

    To clarify our issue, please try the following tests:

    1. Please try to run other exe from the share to see if they can run successfully.
    2. Copy the affected exe from share to the affected device to see if the exe can run successfully locally.

    If you copy over locally the program will run fine.

    we get the same error from other .exe on the linux sahre.

    We cannot move the isntall file as they are not support if we move them.
