Managing and deploying updates via Configuration Manager
Are your agents allowed to go over internet to download the security updates directly from MS CDN servers? Also, any particular reason why you don’t have WSUS configured?

Team,
we are trying to update M365 apps client (O365) through SCCM. However our SCCM doesn't use WSUS, is there a way that M365 app updates (For all channels Semi annual, current, monthly) can be manually downloaded and then creating a package and push to all clients through DP? For windows security patches, that's how we are doing it. Manually downloading from catalogue site and creating package and pushing the same. Please let me know if that's possible, all article shows syncing software updates through WSUS and downloading it on site servers of SCCM.

Hi @GoodResource ,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.
If it meets your business and technical requirements, we recommend updating your client devices automatically from the Office CDN. You can try to use group policy or client policy to enable Microsoft 365 Apps clients to receive updates from the Office CDN instead of Configuration Manager.

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!
