My Azure organization's only admin left the company. How can I give admin to someone else?

I am replacing my former boss as administrator to our Azure cloud services. I just created free account with my company email and discovered that I am already a member of the company organization in Azure. Great. That's probably automatic by Outlook domain name. However, I don't have permission to create any of the services I need to create. I went to look into the organization and my former boss was removed but he was the only admin. How can I recover admin privileges for myself in this situation?

    Hello @Mike MacHenry , usually the lack of Entra ID admins in a tenant signals the aforementioned is a viral or non maaged tennat created by a self service signup.

    If your case is the former, try taking over an unmanaged directory as administrator in Microsoft Entra ID. Otherwise, you will need to open a support case trough the Azure Portal or trough a phone call. Proof of possesion will be required.
