Issues with Attachments in Emails Sent via Power Automate Workflow

Hi,

I have configured a workflow in Power Automate which, upon a trigger, is supposed to send an email with an attached file in one instance and without an attachment in another. The email without the attachment arrives as configured without any issues. However, the email with the attached file does arrive as configured and with the file attached, but the problem occurs when trying to open this attachment. I receive the following error:

"Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open 'xxxxx.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded)."

  • I have attempted to retrieve the file from both SharePoint and OneDrive, with the same result.
  • I have also tried other file extensions (.zip and .docx), but the result is the same. Additionally.
  • I downloaded the file using Mozilla, Chrome, and Safari browsers, yet the issue persists.
  • I've tried the same with my personal and professional accounts, but the result is the same.

Operating systems used are Monterey 12.7.1 and Sonoma 14.2. I have seen posts with similar issues, but the solutions provided did not work for me.

I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Best regards.
