Hello Folks,

I have a scenario and I want to verify how it will works:

We have one single forest with root domain and child domain, each domain has his own exchange server, DomainA.com for the root domain and the other exchange server in the child domain is DomainB.com.

We planned to migrate all mailboxes from both exchange server to two different tenant, as far as i know i can run the Hybrid Exchange Wizard in the root domain since this is one exchange organization per forest to one single tenant.

Question one: in the hybrid wizard you can only select one exchange server as per the below screen

Hybrid Configuration Wizard on-premises Exchange Server organization

and adding only one global admin for one tenant ? so what about the second tenant ! do i need to run another hybrid wizard for the child domain (the other exchange server)

Hybrid Configuration Wizard on-premises Exchange account and global account for the tenant

Microsoft Exchange Hybrid Management
Microsoft Exchange Hybrid Management
Microsoft Exchange: Microsoft messaging and collaboration software.Hybrid Management: Organizing, handling, directing or controlling hybrid deployments.

    Hi @Ahmed Essam,

Since you can only have one Exchange hybrid deployment in one forest, it may not be possible to have the child domain Exchange connect to another tenant.

To my thoughts you can consider moving all the mailboxes in the child domain onboard to the first tenant then migrate these mailboxes to the other tenant with Cross-tenant mailbox migration or migrate directly via export/import pst files.
