Hi,
I have the following pipelines:
For some reason the second dataflow (where I am not specifiying to delete any source files, in fact you do not have this option in the UI) deletes all the files from the bronze delta table.
Is there any reason for this default behaviour???

The Delta Sink has a property called Table action. This property tells ADF what to do with the target Delta table in your sink.
If the Table action is set to truncate or overwrite, it might explain why the files are being deleted from the Bronze Delta table.
Also, there’s a property called Vacuum in the Delta Sink settings. This property deletes files older than the specified duration that is no longer relevant to the current table version. If a value of 0 or less is specified, the vacuum operation isn’t performed.

I expected this answer but unfortunatelly I believe ADF has a bug. Silver table settings:

So I really believe is a bug.

Hi I am not sure which additional I can provide.
As I said the copy from bronze to silver deletes all the files in the bronze table. Even that the table action is None.
Would you be so kind to let me know what else do you need?

Sorry, I am unable to reproduce the issue from my end. As far as I can see, the files were not deleted in the bronze layer.
Could you please let me know the region of your ADF/Synapse?
