Unable to distribute after the upgrade

Hi,

We have upgraded our sccm server from 2303 to 2309 but now we cant distribute any packages

Following was done when we upgraded

• When try to update it ask for "Microsoft ODBC Driver 18"
• After installing this "Microsoft ODBC Driver 18" it create more issue e.g. "Failed to connect to the SQL Server, connection type: SMS ACCESS."
• After changing SSL for sql to no upgraded worked fine

• Distribute and build was working fine too

After change the SSL for sql to yes we cant build or distribute any packages

Potentially stupid question, but I have to ask. 'even though', post-install of the odbc driver for sql, it does not TELL you that a reboot is needed... a reboot is needed. Did you reboot the server(s) yet ? If not... "reboots often magically fix a myriad of issues". Try it?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Have you already installed Microsoft ODBC Driver 18 on every node that has the site system role installed before the upgrade process. Similar threads for your reference:
