My mouse may indirectly malfunction. I replaced it with a new one, but the problem still occurs. I want to know how to determine the cause of the mouse malfunction (the mouse is Microsoft ProIntelliMouse, and I have installed the latest driver)
Open start and search for cmd or Command prompt and run it as administrator and then type the following command:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and let it runs and see what the result is?
It is not easy to determine what causing the problem.
However, try performing Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?
If not , enable services one by one to identify which one causing the problem.
Make sure you have installed the latest update for the Windows too.
