Web System Not Working Properly in MS Edge

Question

We are experiencing a problem with our web-based system that used to work fine in Internet Explorer. However, after the latest updates, IE was removed from our system automatically and we had to switch to MS Edge Browser. Now we have an issue with a procedure that allows the system to display the OS installed printers in a drop-down menu. In Edge browser, the system printers are not showing up.

Could you please help us to fix this issue?

Hi @Jinalee (Jinalee Arsakulasuriya) ,

Do you mean that your system printer is not in the edge printer list?

Please navigate to edge://settings/printing and click "Manage printers", check if printer shows in your printer page.

Also, use the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+P to the print page and try to add printer.

You could try to configure this website” Reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) “and check if the printer options are visible from specific website.

1. On your website click on the three vertical dots at the top-right corner of the page select “Reloaded in Internet Explorer mode”.
2. Press CTRL+P check if the printer page shows up.
